Qualifications

• Graduated from Universities’ related departments
• Preferably experienced in import & export processes
• Plans and prioritizes work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals.
• Able to solve problems effectively
• Uses clear and effective verbal communications skills
• Knowledge of laws, regulations and policies in import & export
• Holds self and others accountable to meet commitments
• Proficiency in English

 ROLE SUMMARY

• Analyze, prepare and accompany the processes of import and export.
• Provide data to solve existing operations problems
• Contribute to the practices of minimizing costs and term of receipt and delivery
• Provide the necessary legal documentation for the acquisition of goods and equipment and for the delivery of products and services in the international market.
• Keep personal contacts with suppliers by phone or mail.
• Keep in touch with brokers, agents and Ship-owners to track purposes and release of imports and exports.
• Accompany the custom legislation to keep up to date the procedures involved in import and export. 
• Also responsible for gathering and summarizing data for special reports.
• Collate and analyze data using pre-set tools, methods and formats.
• Produce, update and provide best practice support on complex MS documents, databases and other departmental systems, advising colleagues when needed, and using own expertise to help improve processes.
• Implement corrective actions or continuous improvement initiatives and monitoring them to make sure they are effective.
• Carry out routine support tasks using legal systems and protocols.
• Assist with stakeholder engagement by arranging actions, meetings, events, and supporting materials to promote stakeholder understanding and commitment.Identify, within the team, instances of non-compliance with the organization's policies and procedures and/or relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct, reporting these and escalating issues as appropriate.
