TSI Seats was established in 2011 with the partnership of Assan Hanil, Kibar Holding, Turkish Airlines and Turkish Technic in order to design, manufacture, modify and merchandise aircraft seats and its spare parts.

Assan Hanil, one of Kibar Group’s automotive companies was established in 1997 with the partnership of Seoyon E-Hwa which is the leading automotive supplier in South Korea, started production as an OEM Part Supplier in the automotive industry.

TSI Seats continues its operations for multiple aircraft types in the production facilities based in Sabiha Gökçen International Aiport, Istanbul, Turkey, and in Seattle, United States, with full design, engineering, manufacturing and R&D capabilities.

We are looking for a Configuration Specialist to join our R&D team in our company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical/Aerospace/Mechanical/Materials and Metallurgical/Industrial Engineering,
• 2 years experience in configuration or integration, preferably experience in Enovia system,
• Working experience with CAD programs such as CATIA,
• Aviation background and aircraft interior experience is a plus,
• Ability to travel abroad.

Job Description

• Preparing, maintaining and releasing baselines for products and (technical) specifications.
• Maintaining all configuration management/change control documentation, processes and procedures
• Processing secret and secure documents both internal and external to the business
• Reviewing of CM and company documentation archiving as required
• Maintaining configuration management structures and tools
• Participating in and support progress meetings and reviews as required
• Taking care of the registration and distribution of controlled copies of baseline documents.
• Coordinating change impact review meetings and communicate the results internally as well as to external parties.
• Monitoring that accepted changes are incorporated within the agreed timeframe.
• Verifying whether products are manufactured conform the revision standard as laid down in their approved baseline (Configuration Audits / First Article Inspections).
• Controlling change management activities.
• Accounting configuration deltas and reports them.
• Preparing Configuration Management Plans.
