Quality Engineer

Reports to the TD-QUC Manager

Activities and responsibilities:

With reference to systems for the generation of electricity and heat based on ORC (Organic Rankine Cycle) cycles

-        Reviews the contractual and mandatory requirements of the order from a certification perspective, ensuring that they are adequate, complete, and consistent.

-        Supports the quality engineer of project and procurement teams in the initial phase of the order.

-        Manages the certification activities of the production order.

-        Manages the certification body, coordinating the necessary activities for the project's approval and organizing and carrying out certification visits.

-        Manages and prepares the final documentation related to the system. By compiling and issuing the technical file for systems that require final CE marking from Turboden Turkey and collecting the necessary documentation for systems that do not require final CE marking from Turboden Turkey.

-        Defines the quality specifications applicable to purchased components.

-        Receives, approves, and monitors control plans drafted by suppliers for components purchased from Turboden (for the product categories that require them).

-        Defines and drafts the quality control plan for the system to be sent to the customer.

-        Oversees that external control activities are carried out in the presence of the expected contractual parties and that the related control documents are drawn up, providing formal approval within the document archive and closing the relevant control within the ERP system.

-        Oversees the reception of quality documentation issued by the supplier and verifies its conformity, providing formal approval within the document archive when required.

-        Collaborates on the analysis of technical and quality product requirements.

-        Supports the related departments by drafting and implementing documentation and processes.

-        Manages internal and supplier non-conformities and related documentation.

-        Performs assigned tasks within the deadlines planned by the PWA system, providing punctual weekly planning.

-        Reports non-conformities/complaints of which they become aware of and manages the assigned corrective, preventive, and improvement actions. In case of non-conformities, performs a root cause analysis in collaboration with their area manager. Completes, within adequate times, the activities foreseen by the treatment. Promptly records the treatment and the outcome in the Navision management software.

-        Performing and following incoming quality controls, fabrication controls, welding controls in the Turboden Turkey Factory or Supplier’s facilty.

-        Organization of NDE activities in Turboden Turkey factory

-        Preparation of template reports for fabrication controls and monitor the reports.

-        Monitoring of traceability by production team or suppliers.

-        Performing expediting activities in suppliers by periodically visits.

 Key competencies required:

-        Excellent knowledge of UNI EN 9001, UNI EN 13480, UNI EN 13445, UNI EN 9606-1, UNI EN ISO 15614-1, ASME Sec.VIII Div.1, ASME Sec.IX standards.

-        Excellent knowledge of the principles of the following European directives: Machinery, pressure equipment (PED), low voltage, electromagnetic compatibility, ATEX.

-        Good experience in component inspections at the supplier, recording of results, and preparation of control reports.

-        Excellent ability to manage quality control plans and related records.

-        Good familiarity with problem-solving techniques (8D, FMEA, etc.).

-        Good knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.

-        Good knowledge of the Arxivar document management software.

-        Good knowledge of the Navision management software.

-        Excellent ability to plan and organize their own work.

-        Excellent ability to identify the extent of problems by analyzing their causes.

-        Excellent ability to obtain problem solutions (problem-solving) by establishing action priorities.

-        Good ability to interact with internal personnel.

-        Good ability to work
