YOUR ROLE

• Reporting directly to the “Adhesive Operations and Projects Director”
• Assuming responsibility for the Inbound Logistic and Material Management operations with an approximate team of 25 white and blue-collar employees based in GEBKİM Plant
• Having a strong co-operation with various functions in order to ensure production continuity
• Acting key role between Warehouse, Logistics, Supply Chain and Production Operation in order to maintain efficient workflow
• Is accountable for the continuous improvement, cost saving, and efficiency increase in responsible projects
• Maintaining compliance for health and safety environment & quality standards and manage 5S with in the related work environment

YOUR SKILLS

• Having a Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering department, MBA is desirable
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Logistics and Material Management in a manufacturing environment, Warehouse management is an additional asset
• Previous experience in managerial roles is desirable
• Previous experience in identifying and executing lean initiatives including 5S
• Prior experience in leading safety initiatives for a manufacturing plant, previous background in quality system management
• SAP and production related system know-how is a plus
• Being able to work collaboratively across the plant, organization, and with customers
• Having experience in assessing performance, coaching, counseling and identifying training needs
