YOUR ROLE 

• Acting as the Research & Development (R&D) Manager for the Laundry & Home Care business unit in Turkey responsible predominantly for the Raw Materials and Packaging operations 
• Assuming full responsibility for the packaging as well as raw materials specifications and alternatives in order to achieve optimum quality with the best prices on right time 
• Reviewing current and new products formulas, advising on their standards (Local, EUD, or others) that will be produced, ensuring its compliance with the local standards 
• Is responsible for the Laundry and Home Care formulas control from updating (if any) until distribution, providing alignment with Henkel MEA (Middle East and Africa) all along 
• Working in cooperation and harmony with various departments including but not limited with Marketing, Purchasing, and Supply Chain 
• Managing competitors’ analysis program and monitoring the results & conclusions with concerned parts in Turkey & MEA Hub 
• Reviewing and consulting to the Marketing department on product claims and promotions 
• Participating in the production trials, zero productions, and application of new technologies 
• Representing R&D department on product launching or development meeting with other departments 
• Representing Henkel in R&D related meetings outside of Henkel 

YOUR SKILLS 

• BSc/BA in Engineering (preferably in Chemical Engineering Department), MBA or master’s degree is an additional asset 
• Minimum 7 years of R&D experience, undertaking responsibility for the Packaging and Raw materials field in a multinational environment, preferably in FMCG sector 
• Successful track record in dealing with Formulation, Packaging and Regulatory Affairs with sound market know-how in Turkey 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels 
• Open to work in an internationally diverse environment, capable of establishing sound relations across geographies within the diverse teams 
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management 
• Advanced user of MS Office applications
