Expert Data Scientist

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Computer, Industrial and etc.), MIS, Math, Statistics or Business Administration (Master’s Degree is a plus),
• Min. 5-7 years of experience in;
• Analytical Models/Methods, Predictive Models and Behavioral Segmentation,
• Proficiency in predictive modelling softwares such as SAS, SPSS, KXEN,
• SQL and Python required; Hadoop, R and Spark experience is a plus,
• Understanding of Machine Learning and Deep Learning methodologies,
• Project management and analytical thinking skills,
• Results-driven and delivery-focused,
• Telecom sector experience is a plus,
• Strong written, verbal communication skills in English.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Conduct customer behavior/need analyses and support key business decisions with methods such as customer segmentation, predictive analysis, etc.
• Design statistical models (For upsell, cross-sell, churn, next product to buy, offer propensity, social network analytics etc.) and regularly update models considering changing market conditions and offer variations,
• Follow-up of model performance, monitor the marketing / digital services / sales actions, measure periodically their financial impacts and communicate the results to business stakeholders,
• Proactive business ownership of enterprise data, define data warehouse integration needs and coordinate technical teams accordingly,
• Take active responsibility on business ownership and end-to-end management of analytical projects within Turkcell,
• Proactively creating business ideas applying big data and creating analytical projects accordingly in order to achieve higher customer life time value,
• Analysis of big data (log, transaction and graph data) with advanced analytical methods.
