QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Pratt & Whitney Turkish Airlines Technic Aircraft Engine Maintenance LLP. (Turkish Engine Center) is a joint venture company between Pratt & Whitney that has a leading role in American Aviation Industry and Turkish Airlines Technic that is subsidiary of Turkish Airlines. Turkish Engine Center was established on October 10th, 2008 and provides maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services of aircraft engines for domestic and international airlines. Turkish Engine Center's goal is to grow to be the leading Engine MRO Center in this region.

QUALIFICATIONS

• University graduate from engineering (Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospcae Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electronics Engineering Etc).
  
• 5+ years experience in operations departments of aviation market.
  
• Good level of understanding of Civil Aviation Regulations (Part145, Far43/145 Etc).
  
• Advance level of technical knowledge on gas turbine engines.
  
• Excellent skills of communication.
  
• Being motivated self and his/her environment and result oriented.
  
• Excellent skills of analytical thinking and solving problem.
  
• Excellent command of English both written and spoken.
  
• Using effectively MS Office applications.
  
• To have intercultural sensitivity.
  
• To be customer oriented.
  
• Completed military service for male applicants.
  
• Knowledge of SAP.
  

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Develop Unit’s strategies and performance targets alignment with Operations strategies.
  
• Leads all operational activities.
  
• Assuring operations business unit is meeting schedule and cost commitments without compromising safety of the work force or product quality.
  
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to implement turn time reduction, cost savings, and environmental & health enhancements.
  
• Ensures the coordination of inter-cell activities where parts, machines, and manpower must use capacity in more than one cell.
  
• Ensures the coordination and work with Sales/Marketing, Inspection, Engineering, Materials/Purchasing and technician/senior technician and the management team in order to be effectively performed the operations if required.
  
• Performing  required preventive and corrective actions through  observations to reduce COPQ and product non-conformance.
  
• Support the management of all aspects of production in the engine repair and overhaul business for the V2500/CFM56 within a regulated local and global environment, so that the objectives set for the TEC are achieved.
  
• Support development of system and processes.
  
• Develop work flow within the engine overhaul shop.
