QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Pratt & Whitney Turkish Airlines Technic Aircraft Engine Maintenance LLP. (Turkish Engine Center) is a joint venture company between Pratt & Whitney that has a leading role in American Aviation Industry and Turkish Airlines Technic that is subsidiary of Turkish Airlines. Turkish Engine Center was established on October 10th, 2008 and provides maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services of aircraft engines for domestic and international airlines. Turkish Engine Center's goal is to grow to be the leading Engine MRO Center in this region.
QUALIFICATIONS
- University graduate (Aeronautical engineering, Aerospcae Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Electronics Engineering)
- Master degree is a plus.
- Advanced level of understanding Civil Aviation Regulations (Part145, Far43/145 Etc)
- Min 4years of Aviation experience with 2 years of Quality experience.
- Having internal auditor experience.
- Technical knowledge on gas turbine engines is a plus.
- Knowledge of Aircraft Engine MRO Quality and Engineering Processes.
- Understands the methods, techniques and practices outlined in the OEM maintenance documents, Ads, SBs, and other ATD ( Approved technical Data) acceptable or approved by civil aviation authorities.
- Excellent skills of communication.
- Being motivated self and his/her environment and result oriented.
- Excellent skills of analytical thinking and solving problem.
- The ability of separating the whole process into the pieces and understanding the relations between the pieces and the process or the target of the system.
- Excellent command of English both written and spoken.
- Using effectively MS Office applications.
- To be customer oriented.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Monitoring the quality system to ensure compliance of the maintenance organization with applicable requirements.
- Supporting the conduct of system, process, product audits.
- Supporting the preparation and implementation of annual audit program.
- Supporting the Coordination of internal parties during external audits.
- Implementation of Corrective and Preventive Action System.
- Identifying and monitoring quality improvement opportunities.
- Preparing monthly Quality Clinic metrics.
- Tracking and trending of non-conformances.
- Performing analyzes on quality system data to identify quality improvement opportunities.
- Monitoring the applications of improvement initiatives.
- Participating in studies concerning establishing, implementing and maintaining the quality system.
- Supporting the implementation of quality audit program in which compliance with all maintenance procedures is reviewed at regular intervals in relation to each type of article maintained.
- Responsible for performing audit, follow up and closure of any non-conformances identified.
