QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Pratt & Whitney Turkish Airlines Technic Aircraft Engine Maintenance LLP. (Turkish Engine Center) is a joint venture company between Pratt & Whitney that has a leading role in American Aviation Industry and Turkish Airlines Technic that is subsidiary of Turkish Airlines. Turkish Engine Center was established on October 10th, 2008 and provides maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services of aircraft engines for domestic and international airlines. Turkish Engine Center's goal is to grow to be the leading Engine MRO Center in this region.

QUALIFICATIONS

• University graduate (Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospcae Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Electronics Engineering).
• Min. 7 years of Aviation experience including supervisory experiencewith at least 4 years of it in Quality.
• Advanced level of understanding Civil Aviation Regulations (Part145, Far43/145 Etc).
  
• Having internal & external auditor experience.
  
• Excellent command of English both written and spoken.
  
• Excellent communication skills.
  
• Being self-motivated and his/her environment and result oriented.
  
• Excellent skills of analytical thinking and solving problem.
  
• Using effectively MS Office applications.
  
• Technical knowledge on gas turbine engines is a plus.
  
• To be quality and customer oriented.
  
• To have intercultural sensitivity.
  
• Completed military service for male applicants.
  
• The ability of separating the whole process into the pieces and understanding the relations between the pieces and the process or the target of the system.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Establishing an independent quality system to monitor compliance with several countries Civil Aviation Administrations (CAA) with primary focus on both US FAA and European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) requirements. Engineering).
• Ensuring that all statutory and Company's regulations and standards relating to the maintenance, preventive maintenance, alteration and inspection of engines and components, including Global Quality Policies, are complied with and adhered to, and that any such work undertaken by the Company meet the standards required by FAA, European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and other airworthiness authorities.
  
• Ensuring that work carried out on parts, components or accessories are limited only to those in the Capability List and maintenance organization’s operation specifications.
  
• The issue and control of authorization certificates to suitably qualified personnel in the Company to carry out work under the terms of authorization.
  
• Obtaining and maintaining various regulatory agencies certification.
  
• Ensuring that the applicable calibration requirements are continually met.
  
• Maintaining a Suppliers Quality Assurance System to ensure purchased and subcontracted maintenance meets the regulatory requirements.
  
• Tracking and trending of non-conformances.
  
• Work with closely Global Quality Assurance for quality issues and prepare reports for them as requested.
  
• Evaluation and approval of sub-contractors and suppliers according to the quality systems.
  
• Communications with government authorities related to the interpretation of regulations.
  
• The approval of his or her organization by the governing civil aviation authority.
  
• The preparation and approval of quality manuals and subsequent amendments.
  
• Obtaining the regulatory requirements for the civil aviation authorities located in the vicinity of his or her country, and countries for which they have approved maintenance organizations.
