We are looking for a Procurement Category Supervisor to take part in Sea Logistics and Logistics Services Category department located in Tuzla / İstanbul;

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or International Logistics Departments
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Logistics Procurement, Logistics Operation, Logistic Development or Supply Chain
• Having technical knowledge for sea container and bulk shipments (preferably having experience in container transportation.)
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications
• Strong communication, negotiation skills and teamwork skills
• Strong reporting skills and able to contribute to presentations
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with an ability to manage complexity and uncertainty
• Have no restriction to travel

JOB DESCRIPTION

For Ocean Container/Bulk Transportations purchasing activities;

• Creating supplier lists, creating alternative suppliers and managing supplier relations
• Following the developments in the sector
• Determining category strategy and developing tender specifications
• Managing spot short and long term tender processes
• Conducting a cost-benefit analysis
• Negotiating prices with suppliers
• Supplier selection and implementing new suppliers
• Preparation of contracts, strategic negotiations, signing contracts
• Supplier dispute management
• Ensuring coordination with internal and external stakeholders
• Preparation and submission of necessary reports
