Export Specialist

Ulusoy Elektrik İmalat Taahhüt Tic. A.Ş.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

·        Manages the day to day export transactions, in coordination with the nominated customs broker.

·        Deploys compliance processes and procedures for Eaton Ulusoy.

·        Evaluates compliance status with various regulatory bodies including Customs, export control, and applicable tax authorities for Eaton Ulusoy business.

·        Monitor and communicate trade compliance related policy, procedures, and economic issues that affect Eaton Ulusoy operations.

·        Prepares daily / weekly reports and shares to GTM and to Senior Plant leaders

·        Coordinates the inbound transactions with the procurement department and export transactions with sales teams

·        Supports the On time Delivery metric/approach for in and outbound and has coordination function for inbound/outbound materials between the procurement, logistics, and warehouses

·        Support customs and export control related government audits within his/her plant (Inform GTM Manager)

·        Escalate GTM-related government inquiries and suspected non-compliance.

·        Ensure that export activities are compliant with the national and international regulations 

QUALIFICATIONS:

·        Bachelor’s degree required

·        Fluent in both written and spoken English

·        2-3 years direct import and/or export compliance experience in a major corporation, service company, or law firm.

·        Demonstrated problem-solving ability, communication skills, and cross-cultural awareness,

·        A strong team member, able to shift roles as required by the group dynamic (e.g. contributor, facilitator).

·        Knowledge of audit and assessment procedures and evaluation of internal controls.

·        Working knowledge regarding the service capabilities, roles and responsibilities of customs brokers, freight forwarders and logistics service providers.

·        Ability to effectively communicate orally and in written word to all levels of corporate management, functional staffs, line level employees and government officials..
