As a Senior Financial Analyst,you will be primarily ensuring that the business transactions are properly accounted both in local GAAP and US GAAP and reflects the company’s operations accurately. supports the Accounting Manager  in month-end closing, reporting and planning processes as well as compliance with SOX and internal audit. This position reports directly to the Accounting Manager.

As a Senior Financial Analyst,you will be primarily ensuring that the business transactions are properly accounted both in local GAAP and US GAAP and reflects the company’s operations accurately. supports the Accounting Manager  in month-end closing, reporting and planning processes as well as compliance with SOX and internal audit. This position reports directly to the Accounting Manager.

Job Responsibilities

•  Prepares, verifies and controls the GL journal entries in the ERP system to ensure the integrity of the general ledger and sub ledgers.
• Support  day-to-day accounting activities from US GAAP to Turkish GAAP
• Timely and accurate completion of balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Take proactive role in month end closing activities.
• Perform analytical review on high-risk GL accounts and understanding how major transactions of the business are reflected in the financial statements.
• Understand all transactions affecting assigned accounts and investigate any anomalies and significant variances through to resolution.
• Assists testing and ad hoc projects when necessary for FI modules.
• Support new ERP process including standardization and training of the team.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policy, including SOX. 
• Communicate well with internal and external parties, including other EATON entities, customers, banks, vendors, internal accountants.
• Helps to foster an environment that promotes Eaton’s goals, philosophies and ethics.

Are you?

Required:

•        Education level required Bachelor degree in BA, Economics, Finance or Accounting.
•        Minimum 5 years of experience. Big 4 is a plus.
•        Knowledge about US GAAP, Local GAAP.
•        Knowledge about SAP is a must
•        Fluency in English.
•        Ability to perform complex accounting tasks and functions
•        Strong analytical skills.
•        Multi-tasking.
•        Eager to learn and develop.
•        Able to work under pressure during peak periods.
