QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Management Engineering, Food Engineering, Textile Engineering or related fields,
  • Minimum 6 years of experience,
  • Preferably has experience in the retail sector,
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English,
  • Excellent command of MS Office applications,
  • Negotiation skill is a plus,
  • SAP knowledge is a plus,
  • Effective communication, teamwork and business cohesion skills,
  • Has analytical thinking and problem solving skills, planning and organizational skills,
  • Hardworking and eager to learn, willingness to work in a dynamic environment,
  • Strong multitasking and planning skills; result and change oriented, proactive,

  • No restrictions for travelling both inside of Turkey and abroad temporarily,

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Build long term, profitable, category strategy and assortment management to maximize sales and margin.
  • Finding related suppliers and making detailed research of the product ranges and getting in touch with the companies.
  • Management of the contracting process with the companies, both transmission and completion of the necessary documents.
  • Procurement from the specified supplier at the desired quality, at optimum costs, and complete procurement of the product.
  • Realizing store based lay-out plan and planogram due to the product groups and sharing the organized plans with the operation department.
  • Controlling the replenishment process through the system and ensure all the systematical processes are as they are supposed to be.
  • To keep all the product informations updated in Masterdata system.
  • To follow-up product analysis due to stock and sales performances.
  • Visiting the stores and fulfilling the store visit report on a daily basis.
  • Evaluation of product costs and follow up the market and the competitors.
  • To report product costs and category profitability to the category manager.
  • Evaluating customer demands and due to customer demands creating annual / monthly activity and promotion plans. Following up the promotion budget.
  • Analyze data or insights to determine industry and consumer trends.
  • To develop new product, new packaging designs and negotiating with new companies.
  • To give all the needed information which will help the sales staff to help.
