Mechanical Engineer (Junior)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Assuming responsibility for mechanical engineering activities

-  Conducting related mechanical engineering activities for project feasibility studies

- Solving technical issues in related engineering fields

-  Receiving the price quote from the most convenient suppliers, in terms of quality and prices, by taking contract and specifications into account, opening up procurement request

-  Making procurement suggestions via using equipment and company information, by taking contract into account

-  Preparing the equipment and piping materials’ lists and specifications for the project, method reports, commissioning instructions, adjunct accounts and documents in compliance with contracts, technical criteria of mechanical engineering and company standards

-  Following the work-flow and work plans on project basis, working in close cooperation with project team and other related departments

-  Achieving the cost and quality targets on project basis

-  Controlling the subcontractors and vendors’ applications’ quality in the manner of technical quality and cost targets

-  Participating into meetings with vendors in order to provide technical support in the matter of mechanical assembly and implementation

-  Maintaining the quality control activities of procurement activities and applications of suppliers

-  Providing support to Purchasing Team in order for them to control the procurement demands in a technical manner (plant tests)

-  Providing support for managing the building site, conducting start-up activities

-  Conducting quality control activities for related issues during the operation and guarantee period, receiving feedbacks

-  Investigating technological developments and implementations in related fields, developing technical implementations, providing support for creating a company standard

-  Conducting meetings with existing and potential clients in related fields

-  Preparing equipment lists, engine power lists, pipeline and armature lists, tool lists, pipe classification and system documentation for Technical and Execution mechanical and piping projects

-  Making budget estimation and cost studies, receiving, analyzing and evaluating the offers

-  Monitoring the Mechanical Draftsman’s drawings on project basis, entering revisions, ensuring the timely and qualified completion of tasks

MAIN REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Master degree is an asset

- Good command of the English language and/or of an another foreign language of our market regions 

advantageous

- Good EDV-Knowledge (MS-Office, MS-Project, Autocad, etc.)

- Strong communication skill-set

-  Ability to take the initiative

-  Solid sense of ownership and responsibility

-  Open-minded, eager to learn personality
