Accounting Manager

• Bachelors degree preferably in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or Finance,
• At least 10 years of experience in general accounting and tax
• Prior experience with accounting for multinational corporations preferred
• Good knowledge of SAP and MS Office programs;
• Good command of English both written and spoken,
• Holding a Turkish CPA licence/SMMM
• Leading by example, developing and mentoring team members with strong leadership and personnel management skills

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Reporting directly to CFO
• To ensure the compliance of all accounting records with the Laws, Regulations, Company Decisions, Internal Regulations and Procedures
• Processing/Monitoring all the local accounting activities
• Responsible for all monthly and annual closing records in SAP in accordance with local law
• Review the tax declarations, VAT return declarations, oversee all tax related matters and risks and coordinate tax issues with tax advisors and Group Tax Director.
• Preparation of Ad-hoc reports if needed
• Preparation of Monthly GL reconciliations
• Support external/internal audit processes
• Proactively seeks opportunities for continuous self-development across different processes, systems, or tools, as well as eager to guide and develop others
