TEXconnect Field Application Engineer for the Carpet weaving industry and another similar softwares.

Function:

Function title:  Field Application Engineer

Department: Customer Service Department, close contact with R&D and Sales

Description of the Job:

As TEXconnect Field Application Engineer, you will set up and support implementations of the new leading edge web application TEXconnect, which enables to manage and to optimize weaving plants.

You will visit customers, give TEXconnect demos, and help to analyze the customer needs. You will inform the R&D and Sales department on specific customer requests. You will also provide customer support for TEXconnect users.

And you will help with translations and documentation for TEXconnect.

As you are the bridge between development, customer and sales, good technical and communication skills are required.

Required working experience:

You have a strong background in weaving carpet industry and the different automation steps.

It is important that you can fluently work with web applications, this can be on laptop, tablet or smartphone. You are able to grasp new concepts quickly and efficiently and you can easily work with new state of the art mobile technology.

Although it will not be necessary to do any software development yourself, a general interest in technical aspects of cloud applications is a plus.

Required personal characteristics / competences:

You have a convincing personality which enables you to illustrate the benefits of the application to the customer.

You are proactive to identify the customer’s needs.

You are loyal to your employer and you share all customer requests and feedback.

Required language knowledge:

Very good Englishknowledge is important to explain technical and business requests to the R&D and Sales department in VDW Belgium.

Native Turkish is needed for detailed explications and discussions with the customer.
