VavaCars is setting out to revolutionize the secondhand automotive industry in emerging markets, by creating the world’s most trusted car transaction platform. Headquartered out of London, with initial locations in Turkey and Pakistan, we aim to provide ease, transparency, simplicity, and trust to buyers and sellers of used cars, which includes individuals, corporates, franchised and independent used car dealers.

In this position you will be responsible for talent acquisition. You discover talent, build a strong employment brand and help us recruit the very best.

• You will develop talent acquisition strategies and hiring plans
• You will lead employment branding initiatives
• You will actively source, head hunt, network, hustle, cajole and manage all direct applicants to build pipelines
• You will organise and/or attend career fairs, meet-ups or other events to ensure we connect with the best talent
• You will plan and conduct recruitment and selection processes (interviews, screening calls etc.)
• You will determine current staffing needs and produce forecasts by working with all functions
• You will manage requisitions and follow time to hire targets
• You will assist in employee on-boarding to correctly land all candidates
• You will eventually build your own team and manage all 3rd party recruitment partners
• You will take steps to ensure a positive candidate experience, send surveys to target continuous improvement
• You will use metrics to create HR reports and identify areas of improvement

Requirements

• 8+ years HR experience with a focus on talent acquisition auto industry experience is a plus
• Experience in high scale recruitment management
• Experience in full-cycle recruiting, sourcing and employment branding
• Understanding of all selection methods and techniques
• Proficient in the use of social media and job boards
• Willingness to understand the duties and competencies of different roles
• Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and databases, “Workable“ knowledge is a plus
• Advanced communication and influencing skills in English and Turkish, written and verbal, able to successfully interview in both languages.
