Project description:

Developing a P2P enterprise communication system — with features you know from ZOOM, SKYPE, TEAMS, WHATSAPP etc. but much more functionality and with guaranteed privacy between communication partners No spy or man in the middle, no profiling of users, no centralized saving of any communication data — all are local, we only mediate the P2P communication. 

Finally honest and private communication for everyone!

Functions which will be realized: message communication, video-/audio conferences, calendar, medical data exchange, personal health records and 100 things more).

• We are providing the app in 5 languages at first, for these operating systems: Windows, Mac OS, Linux, Android and IOS plus the usage with browsers Chrome, Firefox and Safari.
• As a cross-platform application we develop at the front end with React (JS), and Javascript — for generating Apps, we use Chromium together with Elektron and Capacitor (former Cordova). We only use native app development for getting access to special mobile features.
• As a core communication module, we are using WebRTC.
• On backend side we are working with PostgreSQL, Ruby on Rails, Elasticsearch, Redis and Cron. 

Requirements:

• The new team member should be an intelligent IT allrounder, able to identify himself with the product philosophy: Providing worldwide users with a real private communication tool where any communicated information is not monitored by the provider, users are not profiled, and the manufacturer does not store any user communication data or provides or sell any user data to third parties 
• Hard-working professional — no beginner — highly structured worker being able to understand complex projects in Front- and Backend 
• Ability to produce the highest product quality and a good understanding of software development for cross-platform applications
• Having experience with our used tools and program languages — WebRTC, React (JS), Ruby and PostgreSQL, JIRA and Bitbucket
• Very good understanding of WEB security and/or hacker prevention 
• Ability to work disciplined stand alone but also in a professional team
• Ability to think outside the box and solve even difficult tasks
• Very good English language is mandatory
• Due to the fact that this is a long-term project we only search for passionate team members who are interested in safe and long term cooperation with us.
• Previous experience working as Software Delivery Manager is an asset.

Responsibilities: 

You will be responsible for:

• Defining product roadmaps with the Product Manager and creating release plans
• overseeing all aspects of the project, setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities and monitoring overall project performance
• maintaining project documentation, including issue lists, meeting minutes, status reporting, product features and change requests
• ensuring timely escalation of issues to product management
