Audit Manager

We are looking for Audit Manager who are experienced in developing requirements in banking / insurance sector in our rapidly growing team across regions.

What is in it for you :

• Involving in audit planning; ensure completion of audits/projects within agreed timescales,
• Performing internal audits of the company in order to evaluate processes and internal controls, identify improvement areas and report to the top management,
• Being responsible for auditing of internal controls – review and assessment of business process controls in order to mitigate risks,
• Evaluating design and operating effectiveness of entity level, business risks,
• Establishing an annual internal audit plan and conducting annual risk assessments,
• Establishing an efficient coordination between process owners to support internal control and risk management,
• Following up action plans based on the audit reports,
• Completing a documentation system to enable efficient audit activities,
• Undertaking internal investigations on fraud or employee misconduct,
• Prepare audit study files in compliance with IIA standards,
• Working with stakeholders for defining risk-based audit scope covering operational, financial, and compliance audit areas,
• Performing operational audit controls with control testing over business functions including human resources, sales, procurement, inventory management, finance,
• Conducting financial audit controls by reviewing each office’s accounting records, bank transactions, and financial statements with substantive tests and confirmation controls,
• Writing clear and concise audit reports, providing value-adding actions addressing controls deficiencies identified,
• Supporting management with the follow-up process providing guidance when required,
• Following up on external auditors’ reports and review,
• Reviewing and reporting GDPR compliance controls findings,
• Giving advisory over the improvement of business processes and controls including all business functions and coordinating and communicating with companies providing outsource services.

       Requirements :

• Bachelor degree in a quantitative field from a top university,
• At least 7 years experience in an internal audit position with experience in building and leading audit teams,
• ISA knowledge is an asset,
• Strong analytical skills with a critical and inquisitive attention to detail,
• Highly motivated self-starter and comfortable taking initiative to drive operational changes within the company,
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English,
