QUALIFICATIONS:

• BSc in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent (MSc is prefered)
• 3+ years of experience in product design, functional design, test, and 3rd Lab certifications
• Extensive experience with Regulations and testing standards
• Ability to understand and interpret regulations and standards (CE, IEC, ISO, EN, etc.)
• Desire to invent the future and lead rather than follow.
• Ability to mentor and coach others in the organization as needed.
• Effective communication, presentation and collaboration skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English. Knowledge of another European language is an asset.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Participating actively in national, European and global technical standards and regulations setting working groups (IEC, CENELEC, TSE...etc) on behalf of Vestel,
• Working with R&D teams to evaluate and interpret applicable standards,
• Providing guidance to R&D teams on how to comply with specific regulations,
• Working efficiently with the compliance team and other departments (R&D, sales, legal, aftersales…etc) to ensure that parts, products and declarations comply with legal regulations and requirements in the relevant period,
• Ensuring that all related departments and business partners are informed on current or upcoming legislations,
• Developing procedures and training for compliance with new or existing regulations which has been amended,
• Identifying compliance gaps or risks and alerting relevant departments pursuant and in a timely manner,
• Being responsible for researching, analyzing, interpreting, and providing guidance on regulatory technical requirements in existing and new markets,
• Notifying product teams of standards changes, emerging regulations and impact on specific product designs, allowing time for necessary updates to design, sales and aftersales status.

Eligible candidates will be invited to following processes: Tests (General Aptitude, English, Personality Inventory) and interviews (HR interview, technical interviews with line managers and Top Management evaluations).
