Requirements ;

• Relevant educational background such as engineering degree from a leading university and master degree in Health and Safety and/or Environmental Sciences is a plus.
• Preferably minimum 10 years of related work experience in environmental management.
• Good knowledge on ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, and ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems is a plus.
• Leadership experience.
• Ability to influence, inspire confidence and build trust at all levels internally and externally.
• Demonstrated ability to apply an integrated approach to health, safety, environmental and social risk management.
• Strong communication and problem solving skills, acting as a good team player
• Very good level of English
• No restriction for travelling

Job Description;

• Define, implement and monitor effective process of managing legal compliance and Vicat Group Turkey Environmental Management System requirements,
• Ensures all activities are carried out to the highest standards by providing clear leadership.
• Drives continues improvement in environment performance, systems, policies, procedures, and culture.
• Ensures that the necessary work is carried out in the workplace in accordance with the Environmental Legislation.
• Drives environmental impact assessment process of all new and existing projects.
• Being part of Group Low Carbon Roadmap and Strategy.
• Makes suggestions to ensure that the environmental hazards in the workplace are identified and risk assessment made, eliminated and risks are taken under control, and to report to the management on these issues. 
• Being familiar Continuous Measurement Systems and their technical/legal requirements.
• Ensures training plans and programs related to environmental management.
• Creates and implements emergency plans for major industrial accidents.
• Drives sustainability reporting systematic and collect/assess appropriate data from all business units.
