Requirements ;

• Relevant educational background such as engineering degree from a leading university and master degree in Health and Safety and/or Environmental Sciences is a plus.
• Preferably minimum 10 years of related work experience in health and safety.
• Good knowledge on ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems and ISO 14001 EMS is a plus.
• Leadership experience.
• Ability to influence, inspire confidence and build trust at all levels internally and externally.
• Demonstrated ability to apply an integrated approach to health, safety, environmental and social risk management.
• Strong communication and problem solving skills, acting as a good team player
• Very good level of English
• No restriction for travelling

Job Description;

• Ensures all business units (cement, concrete, aggregate and logistics) are carried out to the highest health and safety performance standards by providing clear leadership.
• Builds health and safety management system and provides leadership support to all Vicat Group Turkey to ensure compliance.
• Drives continues improvement in health and safety performance, systems, policies, procedures, harmonization of legislation and Vicat Group Safety Culture.
• Tracks each business unit’s health and safety metrics, use and report the data to identify and to reduce risk.
• Ensures continuous health and safety performance improvement through regular reviews, inspections, and audits and procedure, and policy updates.
• Ensures emergency response systems, policies and procedures are in place to manage emergency situations.
• Leads all aspects of incident investigation including verifying root cause, approving, and monitoring the implementation of preventative actions.
• Develops and leads health and safety training strategy.
