GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

This job will be mainly responsible for analysing market, developing products and leading promotion activities of responsible crops in given territory.

REPORTING;

Reporting to the Product Development Manager.

LEAD PRODUCT DEVEOPMENT ACITIVITIES

• Develop and update trial plans by following the given guideline
• Set the Development Stage-1 and Stage-2 trials trials within the framework of the trial plans
  
• Evaluate the trial by analyzing the field data and do the reporting
  
• Finalize the trial assessment and prepare the report 
  
• Prepare and participate to the New Product Introductions meeting

LEAD MARKETING and COMMUNICATION ACTIVITIES

• Plan and execute potential New Product Introductions all promotion activities in Development Stage-2 stage
• Develop launching plans for New Product Introductions
• Develop the communication plans for commercial products 
  
• Develop content enabling the communication department to build promotion materials such as printed materials, merchandise, billboards etc.
• Develop the USP (unique selling points) of all varieties at the local level and communicate to the Sales team 
• Track and report competitors' commercial varieties and product pipeline on the field and follow up competitors' marketing/commercial campaigns and product price levels based
• Follow up the alignment and consistency of the New Product Introductions with launching plans and introduction sheets
  
• Do a value pricing for New Product Introductions with given methodologies of VMK
  

REGISTRATION ACTIVITIES

• Plan, execute and document registration trials
• Contribute preparation of registration dossier of the variety and present in registration committee meeting on behalf of VMK Turkey

ENSURE REGULAR and TIMELY REPORTING

• Prepare and submit required reports in a timely manner to all stakeholders

 MANAGE CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS EFFECTIVELY

• Evaluate the customer complaints by leading the technical analyses that help understand the root cause of the problem. 

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree from agriculture faculties
• Technical knowledge of the field and the vegetable seed business
• At least 3 years experiences in product development and R&D roles
• Broad market knowledge and customer/grower network
• Good knowledge of the IT tools and applications used in the business
• Language: English is a must
