We are looking for a highly motivated “Cost Control Engineer” to strenghten our Technical Office in İstanbul.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor degree from a reputable university in engineering faculties, preferably in Industrial Engineering, 
• Minimum 5 years of office/site experience for a similar position in refineries, petrochemical and power plant projects, 
• Advanced computer skills including MS Office Applications, 
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken, 
• Excellent written and verbal communication and persuasive skills 
• Problem solver, analytical thinking, with an ability to query and research 
• Team player, result-oriented with strong planning and organization skills, 
• Excellent time management skills, rigorous and detail-oriented 
• Being flexible in working hours and have no travel restrictions, 
• For male candidates, military service must be completed.

JOB DEFINITION 

• Working in coordination with the departments, collecting data from the site, data entry to the system, follow up, reporting in order to carry out the cost control studies of the project, 
• Analyzing the planned and actual costs and preparing a report, 
• Establish and disseminate the standards of estimated cost calculation methods, 
• Data collection for all analysis needs, developing data collection and verification methods, 
• Present the results of the analyzes to the relevant teams and senior management, 
• Budget follow-up and coordination with budget owners, 
• Preparing and publishing cost control and budget planning reports on daily, weekly and monthly basis, 
• Preparation, monitoring and control of work programs, 
• Making necessary revisions on programs in accordance with the progress of the project, 
• Reading and evaluating the contract and specifications within the tender dossier and reporting the information obtained.
