We are seeking a highly motivated “Junior In-House Counsel” for our Legal & Compliance Department in our Istanbul office.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor law degree from a reputable universities,
• Registered with a bar association (preferably Istanbul Bar Association)
• 1-3 years of experience in diverse areas of law including contracts law, commercial law, labor law; and preferably EPC contracts and oil&gas sector, gained in a leading reputable law firm or as in-house counsel in similar fields of business,
• Team player, result-oriented, bearing hands-on mentality, ability to multi-task, ability to prioritize,
• Excellent command of English (to be proven by TOEFL, IELTS of similar certificates),
• Advanced computer skills including MS Office Applications,
• Self-disciplined, proactive, dynamic, eager to learn and to take on new challenges,
• Being flexible in working hours and having no travel restrictions,
• No military service obligations.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Assisting in drafting, follow-up and finalization of corporate documentation and transactions,
• Assisting in drafting, executing and revising contracts,
• Drafting legal opinions and memorandums,
• Conducting legal research to provide legal advice to company departments,
• Monitoring legislation updates and sector-specific regulation changes,
• Reviewing and advising on employment and labor policies,
• Facilitating company trainings.
