Your Place in the team

•    Management and operation of design, installation, upgrade and patching, migration, backup&restore and consolidation processes in MSSQL, PostgSQL, MySQL
•    Having knowledge MongoDB process such as common MongoDB configurations with defined of best-practice. Management such as Start, configure , operate the running mongod process and stop progressing MongoDB client operations .  Introduces the basic process for upgrading a MongoDB deploymen and archiving the current log files and start new ones.
•    Design and Management of DR structures of DB systems
•    Tunning, Hardening in both the DB and System layers and also environment components, as well as troubleshoot and fix performance issues in those layers
- Troubleshooting and reporting mysterious and critical issues
- Resolve problems in database bottleneck areas with tuning
- Controlling access permissions and privileges
- Ensuring that storage, archiving, backup and recovery procedures are functioning correctly
- Periodic health checks in mission critical DB structures,
- To comply with RPO and RTO targets,
- Planning and implementation of database backup and restore strategies,
- To prepare high availability and disaster recovery plans and applications and to follow the process
- Monitor and tune database performance, participate in capacity planning, including processing, storage, and back-up/recovery capacity
- Ensuring that storage and archiving procedures are functioning correctly
- Evolve the database environment within the organization, including better information delivery mechanisms, methodologies, and architecture
- Proactive monitoring of deployed systems and HW/SW components
•    Management of cloud project steps related to DB structures such as migration , consolidation , precheck, etc.
•    Bachelor or graduate degree in computer science (or related field)
•    Ensure that VF HSE&W procedures are implemented and works carried out in compliance with local HSE regulations.
•    Ensure that work associated risks are assessed and reduced so far as is reasonably practicable
•    Comply with VFTR’s information security policy, standards and procedures, available under Intranet / Corporate Security Library,
•    Report all suspected security and/or policy breaches, potential security risks to VF TR Corporate Security,
•    Protect VF TR’s information assets from unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, destruction or interference,
•    Protect user accounts and associated passwords , and accept accountability for any actions performed via usage of those accounts.
•    Ensure that VFTR  BCM policy /standard ,procedures ,plans  implemented and works carried out in compliance with   BS 25999 -2:2007  Standard 
•    Ensure that BCM  risks are assessed and mitigated  so far as is reasonably practicable in VFTR  Business Continuity Management System (BCMS)
•    Ensure VTR BCMS by planning, establishing, embedding, implementing, monitoring, reviewing, maintaining and improving within VFTR 

We are looking for you if you have

•    At least 5 years experience in database environment
•    Strong experience and background in MSSQL , MySQL and PostgreSQL database concepts, strategies and in-depth management of those structures
•    Having management capabilities and In-depth knowledge on strong level about all relevant db structures and environment components
•    Strong experience in DR structures and DR scenarios of DB systems
•    Experience about Unix based system like Solaris, AIX, HP-UX and Linux based system like RedHat, CentOS, Debian.
•    Tuning of SQL and PL/SQL
•    Disaster Recovery technologies knowledge and experience
•    Extensive Linux and UNIX shell scripting, PLSQL, and SQL skills
•    Knowledge on C, JAVA etc. programming languages
•    Strong analytical and quick decision-making, result and solution-oriented and self-motivated
•    Strong communication and negotiation skills
•    Fluency in English
