QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a Billing Insight Analyst with the will and ambition to work in high performing Vodafone Team responsible for Leading Digital Transformation in Turkey, reporting to xxx of Vodafone Turkey. 

 The accountabilities of this role are:

  • Performs analyses of billing data for prevention of possible Billing and Charging mistake impacts on invoices 
  • Performs necessary checks for timely and correct creation of customer invoices 
  • Analyzes processes and projects for possible billing impacts 
  • Analyzes possible refund tasks and makes root cause analysis 
  • Analyzes Billing Assurance findings and proposes preventive actions 
  • Performs data mining for impact calculation of possible Billing Assurance findings 
  • Creates invoice configuration codes and report codes for new products 
  • Prepares database queries for possible billing issues or assurance checks 
  • Keeps checklists updated for billing checks 
  • Automates billing assurance checks and provides more checks to be performed on each bill cycle 
  • Prepares internal and external reports for Billing Assurance 
  • Prepares internal and external presentations for Billing Assurance 
  • Presents analysis results and solution roadmap for possible mistakes 
  • Prepares risk analysis and mitigation actions 
  • Tracks and reports solution status of findings 
  • Approves final correctness of billing process to issue invoices

  • Bachelor’s degree from Computer Science, Electronics / Telecommunications, Physics / Mathematics / Statistics and other related fields. 
  • High level of expertise in service incident handling, troubleshooting and root cause analysis. 
  • Experience of handling high frequency streaming data for real time analysis and reporting. 
  • Good knowledge of statistical Analysis (distribution analysis, correlation, variance) 
  •  Intermediate Level of English is a plus 
  • Good understanding of multi-discipline telecommunications big picture. 
  • Good understanding of bill cycle flow and possible billing issues 
  • Experience in using SQL , PL/SQL . 
  • Experience in UNIX and shell scripting. 
  • Good knowledge of office programs 
  • Experience in presentations and reporting 
  • Ability to work in flexible work hours under pressure and tight deadlines. 
  • Having strong coordination, analytical and communication skills.
