Qualifications

· Holding an Engineering bachelor degree from reputable universities, preferably with a master’s degree.

· Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.

· Highly skilled in MS Office programs.

· Advanced level of English.

· Having knowledge and experience in steel service center.

· Having knowledge about import rules and regulations.

· Having deep knowledge and experience in stock planning and control.

· Having knowledge in after sales operations.

· Having knowledge and experience in logistics planning.

· Experienced in Project Management.

· Experienced in Lean Management.

· Having knowledge in ISO Standards.

· Team Management experience, experience in managing blue collars in unionized environment.

· B class driving license.

Soft Skills

· Having a good business sense.

· Having a high sense of integrity.

· Initiative, self driven and enthusiastic.

· Leadership skills with proven experience in motivating and empowering teams.

Responsibilities

1. Manage the steel shop floor.
2. Manage production planning, plan to increase delivery performance, set targets to maximize efficiency.
3. Determine stock management policies in line with voestalpine Turkey’s sales strategy.
4. Work with Finance department in order to lower / optimize stock costs.
5. Provide materials for stock and manage stock control.
6. Make suggestions on capacity / investment planning to increase delivery reliability based on sales strategy.
7. Develop new local and foreign steel providers, negotiate on prices, manage order and cost process.
8. Manage the organization of import process for customers preferring direct import.
9. Control all import process.
10. Ensure all health and safety regulations are met in steel shop floors.
11. Manage the relations with contractor logistics companies and track their performance.
12. Manage and develop company’s logistics planning.
13. Manage indirect purchasing process in line with company’s strategies and targets.
