QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Senior Indirect Buyer who will be responsible for the EMEA region suppliers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering or Economics
• Min. 7 years professional experience in a similar position
• Experience on negotiation with European suppliers
  
• Automotive industry experience in a matrix environment is an asset
• Fluent in English (Other European language as German, French etc. is an asset)
• Knowledge of SAP and ERP
• Experience in Quality, Cost and Delivery
• QR6S Yellow Belt is an asset
• Good command of MS Office applications
• No military obligation for male candidates
• Living or willing to live in Sakarya
• No restriction for travel in and out of Turkey

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a panel (status, relation, etc..) of local suppliers
  
• Negotiate the offers and issue Purchasing Orders
• Manage the blocked invoices
  
• Assess local suppliers
  
• Lead negotiations and recharge Cost of Poor Quality with assigned suppliers
• Ensure all contracts are signed by the supplier (vs standard)
• Identify cost reduction opportunities at the assigned suppliers (supplier’s propositions management)
• Update the catalogs with the supplier
• Ensure problem solving in accordance with the escalation procedure
• Agree Cost Model with suppliers
• Manage purchasing data in SAP (IR, SA, SL, PO)
