The company manufactures a range of products for locomotives, freight cars and passenger transit vehicles, new switcher and commuter locomotives and provides aftermarket services. Company now is seeking a Quality Engineer for its Ankara plant 

Job holder (incumbent) is responsible that objectives of the company (organisation) according budget and planning will be reached within his tasks and areas of responsibility.

Main areas of responsibilities:

Plans, coordinates, and directs quality assurance program designed to ensure quality production of products consistent with established standards and customer requirements. Performs quality inspection on different stages of the production process.

·        Formulates and maintains quality assurance objectives complementary to corporate policies and goals

·        Develops new approaches to solve problems identified during quality assurance activities

·        Implements quality tools and techniques in all production processes

·        Maintains quality records and develops reports

·        Coordinates quality inspection of incoming goods, in-process and final inspection

·        Inspects product to determine compliance with order specifications, company's quality control system for compliance with legal requirements, and shipping and packing facilities for conformity to specified standards.

·        Coordinates implementation and development of standard processes, develops procedures and work instructions. Assists in implementation of quality standards

·        Communicating with Customers/Suppliers and Siscos

·        Supplier audits, evaluation and development

·        Managing the audits of Customers/Certification bodies

·        After-sales activities with customers

Necessary qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Mechanical / Metallurgical  engineering.

Experience: At least 3 years of experience on a comparable position. Automotive industry quality experience will be considered as an advantage.

Professional Competencies:

• Advanced knowledge of quality management system ISO 9001-2015 and relevant technical standards (TSI)
• Advanced Quality tools and techniques (e.g. TQM, SPC, MSA, Six Sigma)
• Advanced knowledge of materials and measuring techniques
• ERP knowledge ( SAP is an advantage )
• Driver Licence Class B
• Age between 28 - 34
• No military obligation for male candidates
• Non smoker

Computer skills- excellent: Microsoft Office
