What awaits you in this role?

We are looking for a passionate Product Owner candidate to join our team at Production & Supplier Development Tribe.

• To make technical improvements so that the process (machining, chemical coating processes, assembly, automation), which is its field of duty, can exceed its current technical competencies and increase its targets,
• Leading the team's competence development in line with the team's needs together with the Tribe Leader,
• Ensuring the improvement of processes or the development of new processes by questioning existing systems and processes and making these processes applicable,
• To warn the relevant people when they see all kinds of risks and inappropriate behavior related to Occupational Health and Safety and to follow up on their correction,
• Following the developments and innovations in the sectoral and field of expertise; leading to the team about the way to bring these developments and innovations,
• To prioritize the works coming from the teams/customer or market expectations, to clearly define the criteria of the business results together with the team,
• To determine the roadmap and vision of the product in accordance with the company's goals and strategies, to develop the business and product strategy,
• Creating and managing backlog items, ensuring that all work is owned by the team and constantly following this process,
• Managing sprint cycles with internal and external teams,
• Following the work flow of the product team and to support the team for delayed activities to ensure that they reach their goals,
• Creating an environment of trust in the customer by using the company and its own reputation and expertise,
• To take the initiative quickly to create the most suitable solution for the developing needs of the customers and the industry, to take action by mobilizing the team,
• Conducting negotiations in line with the win-win philosophy.

The position is located in Tekirdağ, Çerkezköy.

How we describe the perfect match?

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineer, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering or other related fields, Master Degree is a plus,
• 8 yrs plus of experience in the field in the manufacturing sector in machining, chemical coating processes, assembly, automation processes,
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English,
• Performed improvement activities in related modules in SAP,
• To have managed the expense budget of a cost center for at least 3 years,
• Having a 6 Sigma Green Belt certificate and having done at least 1 project using data analytics tools,
• Experienced in lean manufacturing practices and projects,
• Knowledgeable about ISO QMS and having internal auditor certificate,
• Team management experience,
• Experienced in OHS risk analysis applicationsStrong knowledge of communication, negotiation, analytical thinking, problem solving and Planning,
• Following and adopting the market trends and new Technologies,
• Outside the box thinking ability,
• Open to innovation culture,
• Flexible and open to new perspectives,
• A great team player with a self initiative mindset,
• Being open to communication.
