JOB DESCRIPTION

• Coordinating major enquiries with other departments

• Weir equipment pricing (pumps, valves, cyclones, etc)

• Cost calculations and estimations for enquiries

• Preparing price build-up sheets and coordinating tender review presentations

• Providing support to major orders

• Supporting reviews on customer tender documentation, technically and commercially along with other departments

• Providing inter-company quotations

• Updating Salesforce CRM system and reporting on activities as per Weir reporting schemes.

   

• QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 3 Year of experience in prefably Mining Sector
• Strong written/verbal communication skills.
• Result oriented with focus on continuous improvement.
• Demonstrated capability to successfully partner with peers and senior business leaders.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Fluency in both written and spoken English
• Driving licence is mandatory
• Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines/due dates, experience in dealing with both internal and external customers directly.

• Good telephone manner.  Computer literate, particularly Excel, Powerpoint and Word, additionally as a preference knowledge SAP and CRM systems.

• Commercial awareness, with good communication skills and ability to work on own initiative, self-starter

• From an engineering / manufacturing (mechanical / mining engineering), background with previous pricing experience.

• A sound technical background, including knowledge of Slurry Pump applications, Process Plants and use of all Weir Minerals Division products or their equivalent.

• Strong commercial sense and a good understanding of technical delivery process having previously worked in a role with responsibility as part of a sales team.

• Experience of coordinating and preparing major tender proposals and presenting this at management level.
