QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Assistant Business Development Manager (ABDM) will be concerned with

improving and growing a business, by handling all transactional communication on a daily basis and fostering and developing relationships with customers,

suppliers, banks and other partners. 


He/she will report directly to Senior Business Development Manager (SBDM).

 

He/she may work to improve profitability through careful strategic planning and positioning in the appropriate markets, while also enhancing the operation of

the business, position or reputation in every possible way.

 

His/her work will often reach across all areas of the business.

 

Responsibilities

ABDM will need to:


handle all transactional communications with customers, suppliers, banks and

 other partners


identify new business opportunities – including new markets, growth areas,

  trends, customers, products and services


seek out the appropriate contact in an organization


meet with customers/clients face to face or over the phone


understand the needs of his/her customers and be able to respond effectively

 with a plan of how to meet these


think strategically – seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives

  in order to  develop and improve the business

  work strategically – carrying out necessary planning in order to implement

  operational changes


have a good understanding of the businesses’ products or services and be

  able to advise others about them


liaise with the Operations team


seek ways of improving the way the business operates


negotiate pricing with customers, and suppliers in some cases


carry out forecasts and analysis and present his/her findings to senior 

  management

 

Requirements

3-8 years of active experience in Foreign Trade, Trade Finance,

 Trade Operations, Banking/Finance and similar areas


Fluency in English - it is the daily language for any external/Group

 communication


Bachelor’s Degree (Graduate)


Ability to travel and work in flexible hours


Place of work is Istanbul (Asia)
