Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferably in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or relevant,
• At least 5 years of operative procurement experience, working with the global and local suppliers in similar markets,
• Fluent in both written and spoken English (Advanced Business English required)
• Experience in supply chain process,
• Strategic procurement (sourcing, contract management and negotiations) process experience in a global company is an asset,
• Excellent command of MS Office program and SAP,
• Analytical thinking, result oriented, fast in action but with detailed planning,
• Resident in Istanbul Asian side.

Job Description

• Procurement representative of Istanbul Plant and subsidiary at Wilo Group’s Procurement Organization,
• Reporting and tracking of procurement spent and deviations, monthly evaluation with Wilo Group Procurement Category Managers,
• Follow and implement procurement strategies and objectives in line with Wilo Group,
• Daily operative procurement of direct materials (local and global) on SAP, tracking of supply performance of the vendors,
• New or Existing Project procurement,
• Execute new supplier sourcing, selection and assessment for existing and future projects,
• Request quotations of raw materials, semi-finished products and buy-sell products from approved vendors and evaluation of the vendors to determine the best quality, price and delivery schedules consistent with company requirements,
• Develop supplier relations and coordinate audit activities on behalf of Procurement,
• Contribute directly to the company profit and loss with value creation projects,
• Create savings in purchasing spents by increasing efficiency and following the saving program throughout the company.
