PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The holder of this position must fulfill his/her obligations insuch a way that:

1. all tasks in his/her position are completed in a correct, timely, rapid and cost-efficient manner;
2. shipments are sent by the most secure, most rapid, and most efficient way;
3. the needs and expectations of the customer / the other World Courier offices are considered and fulfilled;
4. all relevant and applicable regulations and guidelines are adhered to;
5. all relevant customs regulations are adhered to for all imports and exports of industrial service shipments.
6. The development and intensification of customer contacts
7.  Builds and maintains relationships to contractors / transporters (airlines, handling agents, the Rail, customs, government agencies, veterinarians, suppliers, etc) 
8.  works securely with all pertinent regulations (ADR / DGR / IATA) as well as the relevant laws and ordinances
9.  monitors shipments during the transport and reacts flexibly to any deviation from the plan

The holder of this position must coordinate the cooperation between his/her area of work with all other areas of the corporation insuch a manner that the flow of information is always free of friction, unimpeded, and a holistically positive coordination is assured.
