Design Engineer

OVERVIEW

Worthington Industries is one of the leading multinational industrial companies with production plants in Turkey and head offices in İstanbul. We are looking for a Design Engineer having the following qualifications to be employed in company.

QUALIFICATIONS 

• Graduate from reputable university in Engineering.
  
• Minimum 5 years experience.
  
• Excellent command of English.
  
• Knowledge of Mechanical design software such as PVElite, AutoPipe – Bentley, ANSYS is an asset.
  
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications.
  
• Basic knowledge and experience with design, specification, and selection of static equipment such as pressure vessels, storage tanks and heat exchangers.
  
• Have coordination and communication skills.
  
• Technical competence to lead cross-functional problem-solving.
  
• Completed the military service for male candidates.
  
• B class driving license is required.
  
• No restriction for traveling.

• Live/Willing to live in İstanbul

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Design and report mechanical equipment in accordance with contract requirements, applicable codes and standards, P&IDs, and requirements of other engineering disciplines.
  
• Execute engineering works accordance with applicable procedures, specifications as well as European and American standards.
  
• Prepare, submit, project documentation, and get approval.
  
• Coordination and collaboration with project team members (Engineering, Purchasing, Sales, Quality, suppliers, sub-contractors etc.).
  
• Coordination with customers including managing customer expectations, addressing issues in order to successfully complete the projects on time and at defined quality.
  
• Regular reporting of project status to management and customer.
