Purchasing Manager

Wyser is the international company within Gi Group in charge of searching for and selecting specialized middle and senior management. 

We are looking for a "Purchasing Manager" for one of our refrigeration system manufacturer client in cooling industry. 

Job Description: 

• Create and implement sourcing strategies, best practices, and initiatives to drive significant improvements in supplier quality, total cost effectiveness, and service levels, 

• Benchmark, track, and analyze annual performance metrics and sourcing trends against budget on a monthly basis to demonstrate continuous improvement and progress against strategic objectives, 

• Create and implement comprehensive procurement strategies for category materials covering market trends, supply assurance, quality improvement, supplier development, sustainability, and financial & supply risk mitigation, 

• Effective management of purchasing projects within a manufacturing environment; supplier selection, project execution, cost and timing management, project close activities, establishing and reporting out KPIs, 

• Set strategic direction with procurement team to support divisional cost, quality, delivery, supplier reduction, business model changes and sourcing goals, 

• Provide leadership in development of individuals within the direct material procurement functions through motivating, goal setting and personal development initiatives. 

Requirements:

 • Bachelor’s degree Engineering, focused in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, 

• 6-10 years of experience combined engineering, purchasing, supply chain and manufacturing industry experience, 

• Ability to succeed in a competitive, fast-paced environment, 

• Demonstrated collaborative team player with a strong initiative to win, 

• Demonstrated ability to model various business scenarios and analyze cost, impact, risk, and benefits to inform and recommend business solutions, 

• Able to effectively communicate commercial solutions and concepts to procurement and non-procurement personnel, 

• Strong leadership (people management) capability with all levels of organization, 

• Located in Bursa (Osmangazi) ,

• Travel flexibility.
