Vehicle Diagnostic Software Team Member

Wyser is the international company within Gi Group in charge of searching for and selecting specialized middle and senior management.

We are searching for "Software Team Member” for one of our clients who is a “Global Automotive Company”

Job Responsibilities:

• Implement desktop software applications and diagnostic datasets for company's heavy-duty vehicle End-Of-Line (EoL) and Service Bay (SB) diagnostic operations.
• Work closely with various internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and specifications.
• Develop and document software requirements and user guidelines.
• Validate and provide sign-off for developed/integrated software applications to deliver robust and production-intent software.
• Prepare high quality engineering documentation on development activities and regularly report on project status to internal and external stakeholders.

• BS/MS or equivalent engineering degree in mechanical, electrical, computer, mechatronics or controls engineering or related technical field is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience developing desktop software applications, preferably in the automotive domain.
• Working level of knowledge with at least one of the high level programming languages such as Java, C#, C++, Python or Matlab is desired.
• Ability to adapt to a new programming language and development environment with minimal effort.
• Strong knowledge of automotive communication and diagnostic protocols such as CAN/SAE J1939, ISO-14229, ISO-14230.
• Familiarity with automotive/industrial software development and validation processes.
• Experience with automotive diagnostic data exchange formats (ODX, MDX and A2L) as well as diagnostic flow implementation rules (OTX).
• Experience with DBMS/SQL is a plus.
• Experience/knowledge with technologies used for back-end development is a plus.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work individually or as part of an engineering team in a fast-paced environment.
