Restaurant Hostess

We are looking for “Hostess” for Bagatelle Bodrum Restaurant.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:    

• Welcoming guests to the venue
  
• Greet customers upon their departure
  
• Check with Manager for any special events or circumstances
• Review 7 Rooms reservation for PIV, etc.
• Rview floor plan set-up with manager re: combining tables to accommodate large parties etc.
• Check if there are any Marketing and VIP program requirements importance of accuracy, purpose, etc.
• Review seating plan established by floor managers for that shift- maximize dining room and try to honor special requests.
• Clean and check all menus for proper version
• Confirm Display Menu outside is correct
• Print out notes for Pre-Shift meeting
• Make sure all supplies are organized, pens, staplers, tape, matches, comment cards, flyers, business cards, instagram cards etc.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in hospitality management, business administration or related field
• Hands on experience with Seven Rooms and MS Office
• Proficiency in English, multilingualism will be considered an asset
• Ability to work flexible hours
• Highly responsible and reliable with a professional presentation
• Previous work experience as a Hostess or Waitress
• Understanding of restaurant etiquette
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations
• Experience in managing reservations.
• Demonstrable customer-service skills
• Excellent communication skills (via phone and in-person)
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor the entire dining and bar area
