Import Specialist (Sea Freight)

 We are looking for an “Import Specialist” to be member of our new Logistics Hub Organization based inKurtkoy-Istanbul.

Key Responsibilities:

•           Following up freight & import operations which are coming from overseas suppliers, from the beginning to end ;including ERP order management, document control, system data entry, job order to customs broker, bounded warehouse follow-up and analysis of job order status with conclusion of transferring the custom clearance & expense related documentation and information of the files that import process is finished to accounting department
•          Ensuring that the import materials arrive at warehouse on time, complete and in conformity with required conditions
•          Planning routes and load scheduling for overseas deliveries
•          Ensuring Import activities are compliant with the national and international regulations
•          Obtain strong & effective communications with the various overseas suppliers and service providers during the import process, (Freight forwarders, warehouses, customs brokers, 3PL)
•          To control and provide the complementary and mandatory documents and details related İmport and customs clearance
•          Works with Finance to provide the required documentation and preparing all import related (goods invoice &duty) payment plan in a timely manner
•          Keeping, handling records of import data to own system

Qualifications:

•          Has a Bachelor's Degree from related departments (international trade, business management, industrial engineering etc.)
•          Has an excellent command of written and spoken English
•          Has 2-3 years of previous experience insea freight logistics & import operations
  
•          Between the ages of 25-35,
•          Only male candidates
•          Will be able to reside in Kocaeli and its environs or in Istanbul Anatolian Side,
•          Detailed understanding of logistics documentation requirements
•          Knowledge of import regulations
•          Good command of MS Office programs
•          External and internal relationship management skills
•          No military obligation for candidates
