We are looking for Customs Specialist for our location in Nilüfer, Bursa or Tuzla, İstanbul.

By working on the existing customs systems of Yazaki; joint lean will work on the management of operational processes at different Yazaki locations, take part in the improvement of existing customs / logistics flows and take over new projects, as well as take full part in cost reduction projects and work on Yazaki's customs cost reduction projects.

What You’ll Do

• Advise import-export-customs related issues for the new projects of the company
• Support daily customs issues to sides
• Ensure, collecting import export data at the Custom broker company / plant coordination and submitting them as a report on a monthly basis
• Improve customs brokerage standardizations 
• Leading official customs audits and investigations and export controls for responsibilty countries
• Manage and monitor activities of customs brokers and other trade related service providers by regular audits and report its results for responsibilty counties
• Controlling / audit  the preferential origin calculations and documentation in the countries where the SAP application is installed and ensuring compliance with the factories

Required Qualifications of Ideal Candidate

• 4-6 years of working experience in similar positions
• Fluent in English
  
• Strong time management skills with setting the right priorities  
• Strong usage of MS Excel and SAP seeking to compliantly manipulate data, develop of queries and macros to efficiently review and assess compliance activities
• Team working ability, planning, prioritising and organization skills are required competencies
