What You’ll Do

• Training and supervising accounting staff to improve their performance, increase efficiency in the team.
• Guides other departments by researching and interpreting accounting policy; applying observations and recommendations to operational issues.
• Apply Yazaki accounting manual, policies and principles.
• Makes and implements recommendations to improve accounting processes and procedures.
• Meets accounting financial objectives and month end closing,
• To review accruals, to adopt accounting staff according to month end timetable and check the current status.
• Check and review analytically P&L accounts, correct any wrong posting.
• Check and review all BS accounts, correct any wrong posting and reconcile monthly movements with P&L.
• Check & Validate the result according to the main KPI's. Reviews general ledger on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy of posting.
• Publish  and follow the activities related to the month end timetable internally, give the deadline to other department what we need.
• Managing year-end closing transactions and carryforward issues.

Requirements

• Fluent in English
• At least 5 years experience in accounting
• CPA (SMMM), High level IFRS reporting knowledge would be an asset
• SAP knowledge will be preferable
• Good at teamworking and organising team
• Good Communication and problem solving skills
• Dealing with conflict, focus on results
• Group Independence Audit Knowledge would be an asset
