QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

The purpose of the job is managing the full scope of Sales & Marketing responsibilities, maintaining the organization's Sales & Marketing by implementing, and evaluating policies, programs, and practices. 

Job Description:

  • Set up Sales & Marketing Policy, procedures, and programs, implement and manage all related activities accordingly.
  • Determine the domestic and international marketing strategies of the company with the senior management, create the domestic and international region-product-customer segmentation and segmentation-based sales targets in line with the determined strategies.
  • Direct the sales teams affiliated to her/him in line with the sales and marketing targets, to ensure the realization of the targets, to regularly evaluate and report the target realizations.
  • Ensure the timely preparation, shipment, customs clearance and collection of the received orders.
  • Hold weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual evaluation meetings with the affiliated departments. If there are problems that affect the sales performance and originate from other departments, evaluate them with the senior management and ensure that measures are taken.
  • Ensure that the Marketing and Sales processes are implemented and managed in accordance with the law and regulations.
  • Create the company's domestic and international sales budget in accordance with the marketing plan and sales targets, and ensure the achievement of the budget targets by regularly reviewing the budget realizations.
  • Ensure that the company is promoted by emphasizing the quality, trust and adequate service features for the development and dissemination of the company in the domestic and foreign markets. To detect the pulse of the market, to report and present to senior management.
  • Expand the sales network, respond to the demands and recommendations of the dealers/customers in the domestic and foreign markets on product, quality and service issues, and follow the sector developments.
  • Carry out activities to expand the market network in the target countries in the foreign market, coordinate customer relations and communicate with foreign customers.
  • Ensure that the senior management decisions are communicated to the customers, plan and implement the visits of foreign visitors, provide the organization, deliver the customer-oriented surveys with different contents, compile and forward them to the relevant departments, and keep the compliance of all kinds of activities of the company under control.
  • Carry out all the procedures related to participation in national and international sectoral fairs, prepare contracts with fair organizers, determine the promotional products and stand products that should be taken to the fair, prepare the fair travel plan and complete the relevant reservations, prepare the fair evaluation report after the fair, present it to the management, and hold a fair evaluation meeting with the management.
  • Compile and analyze general and sectoral information about the countries identified as target countries, prepare a briefing about the market, to prepare monthly and annual sales evaluation reports and present them to the management.
  • Follow the developments and innovations in the domestic and foreign markets, ensure that the samples are reached to the customers who demand sample products, ensure that the price lists and new product information are delivered to the customers, and determine the content of the sales contracts.
  • Evaluating incoming sales contract offers, acting as a bridge between senior management and subordinate departments, domestic and foreign customers.
  • Determine the pulse of the market for the development and dissemination of the brand in the domestic and foreign markets, report it and present it to the senior management.
  • Ensure that the effects of the services provided by its subordinates on internal and external customers are analysed and necessary improvements are made quickly.
  • Ensure that the necessary support for independent audit, internal audit etc. carried out within the institution. in the audit processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from Business Administration, Marketing and Sales, Mechanical / Material Engineering. Preferably Master's Degree in marketing and sales areas.
  • Having at least 10 years of experience, at least 5 years of managerial experience in steel industry.
