We are looking for an Energy Trading Specialist to be assigned at our headquarters in Maslak, Istanbul.

Qualifications:

• University degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Engineering, Finance, or related fields (Master’s Degree is a plus),
• At least 5 years of professional experience in the electricity market,
• Experience on EPİAŞ, TEİAŞ (TCAT), and SEECAO for short-term operations,
• Working experience with power trading markets, such as EEX,
• Team player with an individual proactive approach and good communication skills,
• Excellent time management skills, supported with punctuality,
• Excellent command of both written and oral English; an additional European language is a plus,
• Knowledgeable and skillful with software, including Microsoft Office,
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and risk awareness,
• Able to cooperate and provide necessary information to different departments.

Requirements:

• Develop and implement energy trading and hedging strategies,
• Schedule sales/purchase portfolio, considering DAM offers & OTC deals,
• Manage cross-border trading on SEE,
• Manage long-term and short-term portfolios on SEE,
• Perform and execute transactions with HUPX, ALPEX, LAGIE Exchange,
• Optimize portfolio in the long- and short-term markets via OTC and screen trading,
• Develop relationships with third-party providers and generators for the supply of electricity,
• Ensure consistency of energy supply,
• Follow the regulations and legislative changes in the energy markets in Türkiye and Southeast European countries.
