JOB DESCRIPTION

The candidate will work directly with the company’s trading team to understand the needs, or work with other lawyers in the firm to create work that meets company requirements. The candidate will also be responsible from identifying financial needs of the trading team and negotiate the trade finance agreements and relevant security documents with the creditors. The candidate is expected to carry out the legal aspect of financing process from the beginning until closing. The candidate will report to Senior Legal Manager.

The candidate must be able to analyze situations quickly and determine which type of contract is the most appropriate for each situation. This requires strong critical thinking skills and an understanding of how different types of contracts and financial product can be used to achieve specific goals.

The candidate will be;

• Drafting agreements, contracts, or other legal documents according to client specifications in a way that protects company interest
• Reviewing, negotiating and execution of trading related financial arrangements and associated security documents
• Providing legal advice to clients about their rights and responsibilities under the contracts
• Determining if new legislation impacts existing contracts or agreements
• Coordinating with cross functional teams

REQUIREMENTS

The candidate must have;

• A bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Law, obtained the Attorney’s License
• The candidate must have 5-6 years of experience from finance and trading industry with trading, trade financing and contracts experience
• Excellent command of Turkish and English, written and oral communication skills
• Strong knowledge of trade finance
• Excellent negotiation and drafting skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
