Yıldız Holding, one of the largest and fast-growing groups of Turkey, is looking for Business Intelligence Specialist. A brief job description of the position and preferred qualifications for the suitable candidates are defined below:

JOB DESCRIPTION

• To create a data model in accordance with customer requirements to improve and develop existing models

• Making improvements in the exist data warehouse layer using SQL query language

• Design and implement ETL procedures for intake of data from both internal and outside sources; as well as ensure data is verified and quality is checked

• Designing, developing, testing ETL processes, monitoring 

• Carry out monitoring, tuning, and database performance analysis

• Perform the design and extension of data marts, meta data, and data models

• Supporting implemented BI solutions by : monitoring and tuning queries and data loads, addressing user questions concerning data integrity , monitoring performance and communicating functional and technical issues

• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders in ensuring data warehouse architecture development and utilization

• Preparing business analytics reports and dashboards suitable for customers' needs
  

QUALIFICATIONS

• Undergraduate degree from reputable universities; Master degree is an additional asset

• Minimum 5 years of experience in BI and Data Warehouse systems

• Effective usage of T-SQL and PL-SQL

• Hands on experience in SAP BO, SAP BO Data Services and Power BI tools     

• Microsoft SAAS, SSIS experience is additional asset

• Understanding of how IT improvement can impact business performance. Proven experience

• Excellent command of both written and spoken English

• Problem solving and analysis skills to create solutions in a business perspective

• Effective communication skills

• Ability to manage a variety of cross-organizational projects (scope, stakeholders desired outcomes) working closely with broad range of internal and external teams

• Proficiency in MS Office application
