QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

For our growing team, we are looking for enthusiastic team members to take an active role as a Cash and Collections Assistant Manager to be based in YILPORT Holding Headquarters in Maslak, Istanbul.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or closely related fields from Universities.
  • Have at least 6 years of experience in collections preferably in a multinational company,
  • Written and oral fluency in English is a must
  • Professional knowledge of ERP Programs (preferably SAP)
  • Professional knowledge of MS Applications (esp. Excel, Word and Power Point)
  • Demonstrates good understanding of collections and cash flow dynamics
  • Able to prioritize workflows, multitask and manage time effectively,
  • A ‘can do’ approach, willingness to learn and extend the role above and beyond the job description,
  • Is self-directed and self-motivated, able to work both independently and within a highly collaborative team environment,
  • Have quality, process and result driven approach,
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills and ability to organize and prioritize work and handle multiple tasks simultaneously and complete tasks according to deadlines,
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills interact with people from various countries, cultures and all business levels,
  • Able to inspire others and eager to work in a collaborative manner with her/his team and peers.
  • Have excellent attention to details,
  • Good team player with strong problem solving and negotiation skills,
  • No obstacles for domestic & international travel when required.

 JOB DESCRIPTION

Reporting to Cash and Collections Manager,Cash and Collections Assistant Manager will be mainly responsible for all cash management and collection functions driving the improvement of working capital and reduction of overdues in accounts receivable by maintaining relationships with internal and third parties in order to achieve YILPORT Group Companies’ targets.

Additional responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Implementing deadlines for invoicing and payment collection,
  • Negotiating with customers in case of non-payment,
  • Preparing weekly and monthly collection and A/R reports regarding payment collections,
  • Implementing regional collection policies,
  • Implementing the relevant processes to improve cash flows and reduce outstanding receivables,
  • Participating in regular meetings with regions,
  • Participating in special projects and initiatives to optimize the performance of current capabilities, with a focus on improving YILPORT’s DSO and cash cycle,
  • Monitoring overdue debts and informing all related departments; take necessary actions to encourage timely payments,
  • Researching historical data for debts and bills and assisting with customer account reconciliations,
  • Follow up the status of accounts receivable and accounts payable closely,
  • Managing weekly cash flow, including monitoring and reporting activities,
  • Tracking the compliance of the financial calendar with the Regions,Keeping records accurately and reporting the collection activity,

  • Preparing periodic reports for Top Management including, AR overdue reports, DSO/ DPO reports, trade receivables aging, weekly cash flow besides short, medium, and long-term cash flow forecasts while sustaining financial ratios and working capital performance of the Company,
  • Perform in line with the company’s working capital objectives and collection policy and closing procedures.

6 - 8 years of experience
Bachelor’s(Graduate), Master’s(Student), Master’s(Graduate)
Completed, Exempt
