 For our growing team, we are looking for enthusiastic team members to take an active role as a “IT Specialist” to be based in YILPORT Holding Gebze Terminal in Dilovası / Kocaeli or Headquarters in Maslak / İstanbul. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

•  Vocational school in Information Technologies and/ or bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or closely related fields, 
• Have minimum 2-3 years of IT On-Site Support/ Service Desk/ Help Desk along with technical and/ or application support preferably based on ITIL best practices guideline,
• Written and oral fluency in English is plus,
• Very well understanding of computer hardware, Microsoft OS, 365, smartphones and printers, field operations equipment,
• Certificated Microsoft & ITIL etc. are preferable,
• Operational experience in Service Desk Tools,
• Ability to provide technical support and resolve queries, determine IT needs and train end-users,
• Experience in documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics,
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills interact with people from various countries, cultures and all business levels, 
• Good team player with strong problem-solving skills,
• Strong written and verbal communication skills,
• The ability to identify areas of potential improvement and recommend solutions,
• Methodical problem-solvers with an aptitude for learning and quickly adapting new skills,
• Able to travel when required, 
• Able to work out of business hours when required.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Reporting to IT Assistant Manager, IT Specialist will be mainly responsible for resolving technical issues, maintaining hardware and software installations, and improving IT systems.

Additional responsibilities will be as follows: 

• Providing day to day support, review of tickets and requests coming from the users and alarms generated by the systems,
• Making root cause analysis for the critical problems and recurring issues and making timely escalation,
• Supporting the performance of TIER 1 On-Site Support (Field and Office) to end-users (internal and external),
• Keeping track of IT assets (handover – takeover processes for end users),
• Working closely with other IT units to support project implementations,
• Supporting IT Operations (Antivirus, Patch update, SW deployment etc.),
• Handling Service Desk calls and standby for the calls coming out of working hours,
• Have flexibility to work in a shifted schedule when required.
