For our growing organization, We are looking for a 'Maintenance Engineer' to be based in
YILPORT Gebze Terminal.
What are we looking for in a Maintenance Engineer ?
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Mechatronics, Elecrtric/Electronic Engineering,
- Working capability of MS Office, MS Project, ACAD, PLC, SCADA
- Written and oral fluency in English
- High level of organizational skills and attention to detail,
- Good communication and interpersonal skills,
- Outstanding problem solving and analytical thinking skills,
- Sensitivity to working with an ethnically, linguistically, and culturally diverse environment.
Job Description:
- Work collaboratively with the Operation and Technical Departments to provide engineering support and assurance on an ongoing basis,
- Provide advice, control, risk assessment and auditing of electrical activities in specified areas in the terminals in compliance with the legal procedures and safety standards,
- Responsible for operating the electrical system in the field as planned and expected
- Implement emergency action plan, consistently measure precautionary activities and make sure that electrical safety plans are fully functioning within the terminals.
- Forecast, develop and implement plans for electrical infrastructure needs,
- Conduct failure analysis and random investigation of electrical incidents in line with the occupational safety standards,
- Review and authorize electrical installations as well as equipment upgrade and replacement,
- Undertake risk management responsibilities as they apply to the container terminal
- Identify electrical problems of the equipment and containers and develop solutions accordingly,
- Take an active role on the new projects in making projections and preparing the budget forecast of repairs and downtime,
- Analysed the department budget, review business operational priorities, and project vendor proposals in a timely manner,
- Work with Operations to evaluate and recommend electrical repairs to existing equipment and specify new equipment/system to improve efficiency, equipment reliability, safety performance,
- To be interpreted in SCADA, PLC logics and ladder diagrams. (Especially Siemens & Fuji),
- To be performed in low voltage (LV) and medium voltage (MV) electric system.
- Take an action on the low and medium transformers in making active power calculation (Especially step-down transformers),
- To be performed in electric motors and electric drive system and to be identify the required motor capacity of new equipment. (Especially Siemens & Fuji & ABB),
- Take an active role on the new electrical & electronical system revision on crane equipment and substation main components.
