Senior Purchasing Engineer_Indirect Material&Serv.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (or equivalent),
• Minimum 5 years experience in purchasing and/or manufacturing,
• Function ability and experience in a cross-functional team environment,
• Good writing skill, communication and organizational abilities and detail-oriented personality,
• Excellent Interpersonal and negotiation skills,
• Fluent in both spoken and written English,
• Living or willing to live in Asian side of İstanbul or Kocaeli (Gebze & İzmit),
• No military obligation for male candidates,
• Able to travel as required.

İŞ TANIMI

• Responsible for purchasing and the procurement of supplies and services for respective locations,
• Prepare RFQs, examine prices, evaluate all quotes that are received, monitor the availability of items, compare specifications and review alternatives to determine most desirable suppliers using tools such Decision Matrix, Excel calculation,
• Issue, maintain and store purchase orders for supplies and services for all departments to support ongoing plant operations,
• Work closely with involved departments  and ZF Global Commodity Organization (specification, scope of work, approvals, lead times, etc.),
• Communicate with suppliers concerning RFQ’s, POs, deliveries and other issues may occur,
• Track and report purchasing volume of indirect materials and other KPIs for respective locations as needed,
• Provide guidance for other Junior or Operation Buyers for supporting daily operations.
